THE PEOPLE

Courtney Carini was raised among walnut and pear orchards as a native of Lake County, nestled in the mountains just above Napa Valley.  A life-long advocate for the environment and healthful practices, she is proud to incorporate these values into Crazy Go Nuts.

David Wolfe comes from upstate NY, around the area where Joseph Smith 'found' his golden plates.  While David never found gold up there, there are a lot of beer cans in the woods, if you know where to look.  

THE COMPANY

Crazy Go Nuts started in late 2013 with 32 burlap sacks of uncracked walnuts.

After receiving an email from her father about the 1200 pounds of walnuts he had picked on his small Lake County, CA farm, co-founder Courtney Carini decided to expand upon a decades-old family recipe.  She and co-founder David Wolfe then created six more recipes, and several weeks of trial and error later they had what was the beginning of Crazy Go Nuts!
