Courtney Carini was raised among walnut and pear orchards as a native of Lake County, nestled in the mountains just above Napa Valley. A life-long advocate for the environment and healthful practices, she is proud to incorporate these values into Crazy Go Nuts. When not cooking delicious treats, Courtney enjoys performing in many TV shows, writing hilarious sketches, and telling inappropriate jokes on stage.
David Wolfe comes from upstate NY, around the area where Joseph Smith 'found' his golden plates. While David never found gold up there, there are a lot of beer cans in the woods, if you know where to look. In middle school he moved to Florida, trading quality education for high vitamin D levels. When not doing all the grunt work for Crazy Go Nuts, David is busy writing pilots and screenplays that earn him praise from his mother, and indirect eye contact from network executives.
Crazy Go Nuts started in late 2013 with 32 burlap sacks of uncracked walnuts.
After receiving an email from her father about the 1200 pounds of walnuts he had picked on his small Lake County, CA farm, co-owner Courtney Carini decided to expand upon a decades-old family recipe. She and co-owner David Wolfe then created six more recipes, and several weeks of trial and error later they had what was the beginning of Crazy Go Nuts!
Don't forget - when you buy our products, you're supporting a small business. There's nothing crazy about that.
ONLY WALNUTS? WHAT'S UP WITH THAT?
What's up with your face? Sorry, we get a bit defensive. Plus, we've been drinking.
Walnuts are a superfood, and one of the healthiest things you can put in your body. Look it up, you've got Google. Also, they're delicious and part of our unique brand. Go ahead, try to find someone else who's doing what we're doing. If you do, please let us know so we can sue them. We're extremely litigious. It's the American way.
