How should I store this? Does it need to be refrigerated?
You are welcome to put any of our products in the fridge to extend shelf life (no, the walnut butter won't stiffen like peanut butter) or even the freezer, but it isn't required as long as it's in a cool dark place. Treat it like a chocolate bar - the cooler, the better.
My Walnut Butter is separated, is that normal?
Yes. Most nut butter brands add things like palm oil and hydrogenated oil to their product to prevent separation, but because we believe in simple, natural ingredients... we don't. Just give it a quick stir, and you're good to go!
Are your products contaminated with any peanuts or tree nuts?
We do not manufacture any peanut or other tree nut products in our facility, nor does the facility that processes and supplies our walnuts.
However, our products do contain various other ingredients, which can change suppliers at a moment's notice - and we can't guarantee that those suppliers don't handle any other nut products. That said, those other ingredients (bananas, oranges, spices, etc.) are not commonly processed with peanuts or tree nuts.
Long story short - our products are PROBABLY 100% peanut/other tree nut free, but we cannot guarantee that, because we can never be absolutely certain. Use your best judgment, and err on the side of safety, please.

Why Walnuts? Are they better for you than other nuts?
